Our story starts with Ashley. He's worked in Michelin star kitchens and is the pit designer and chef for Embers. Growing up in a small village in Sheffield, Ashley has always loved the whole outdoor, primitive cooking style. Getting hooked on the low and slow Texas BBQ, Ashley travelled around America tasting and studying all the top BBQ joints.
The love for cooking with fire has naturally led us to build our own smokers, fire pits and grills. With endless research and extensive design input from a family engineer who has worked in fabrication for the last 35 years, we love our pit designs and are proud to give them the Embers name. We also ate a lot of great BBQ on the way!
Bringing real craft BBQ to the UK and letting the ingredients speak for themselves, is our ultimate goal. We are a big supporter in sourcing great tasting and sustainable products and cooking them the best way possible, with fire!
